Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Why use you when I can go to the bank or postal store?

A. There are several reasons to hire me instead of going to the bank or postal store, which are:

  • You don’t have to travel.

  • You don’t have to wait in line.

  • You don’t have to sit in traffic.

  • The time schedule is at your convenience, not the other way around.

  • My Services are not really that expensive especially when you consider the convenience.

2.  What is a mobile notary?

A. A mobile notary is a Notary Public that travels to your location, whether it’s your home, your job, the hospital, or even meeting up at a Starbucks.  I’m here to make your document signing as convenience as possible.

3. What is a RON?

A. A RON (remote online notary) is a Notary Public that meets you online!  You email me your document(s), I upload them to my secured third-party vendor site, where I tag them for signatures.  When the documents are ready to be signed, you’ll get an email notification to login at your scheduled time (which I will coordinate with you in advance), you will go through a secured identification verification process, and then we will be connected via video conferencing.  Once we’re done signing, your signed documents will be emailed to you to send to whoever you need to send them to.

4. What is an Apostille?

A. An apostille is a specialized certificate that is attached to your original document(s) that authenticates the signature of the public official for use in another country.  For instance, if you wanted to get married in another country, you’ll probably need your birth certificate or passport authenticated.

5.  Wedding Officiant...?  Notaries can do that?

A. Yes, Florida Notaries Public are authorized under Florida law to solemnize marriage vows.

6. What is VIN Verification?

A. If you want to register a vehicle in Florida that has an out-of-state title, the vehicle must be inspected and the VIN (vehicle information number) verified.  Florida allows Notaries Public to perform this task.

7. How does employment verification work?

A. If you are a remote employee for a company who has its headquarters in another State, they often allow Notaries Public to review the identification papers that are required in order to gain employment. You will need something from them in writing stating that they agree to allow a notary to act as their authorized representative for this purpose.
